Services

Diana Falk is a clinical psychologist who has worked across a range of settings over the last 20 years. She completed both her undergraduate and postgraduate training in psychology at Sydney University and since then has worked in acute mental health as well as community mental health services and has been in private practice for 15 years.

Diana is a clinical psychologist working with children, adults and families.

She sees children presenting with a range of issues, such as

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • ADHD
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Behavioural Problems
  • Emotional Problems
  • Sibling issues
  • Bullying issues

 

She works with the child, family and significant others to bring about effective interventions. She is especially interested in working with parents to strengthen their skills and resources, and improve the parent-child relationship.

Diana maintains a significant portion of her clinical time to work with adults, and sees many adults presenting with issues such as

  • Marital problems
  • Eating disorders
  • Post-traumatic stress disorder

 

Diana is committed to continuing professional development, regularly attending seminars and workshops in areas such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Parent-child Attachment, Treatment of Trauma, Mindfulness Therapy etc.

Diana is endorsed by Medicare to provide specialist services under the Better Access to Mental Health Scheme, and is also an accredited provider of services under the ATAPS Scheme for both adults and children. She is accredited by Workcover to provide intervention for those individuals presenting with workers compensations claims, and is a provider for most major private health funds.
